That&#8217;s also the deadline to apply for someone to vote on your behalf if you can&#8217;t make it <a href=\"https:\/\/ecosoberhouse.com\/success-story\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sober success stories<\/a> to the ballot box on 4 July &#8211; known as a proxy vote. Firstly,  if you don&#8217;t have any photo ID, then 5pm is the deadline to apply for an ID certificate you can use at the general election. This prompted her to enter a residential treatment program. Addiction is a chronic disorder, not a personal failure. I thought sober people didn\u2019t go out, that they didn\u2019t do anything, and I was honestly weirded out by people who didn\u2019t drink. I think it\u2019s important for people to know that just because I\u2019m sober doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m dead. Here are ten inspirational stories of individuals who have overcome addiction and reclaimed their lives.
